The Smart Water Sensor Toy is a floating bath toy that detects the temperature of bathwater and determines if it of a suitable temperature for a young child. The project involves using a waterproof temperature sensor and 3 coloured LEDs, which light up through logic from an Arduino. The coloured LED system allows parents/guardians to identify with ease if the temperature of the bath is suitable for their child, which is integral to preventing burns and scalds during bathtime. The fun boat design is engaging for young children, making bathtime a more enjoyable experience!
