Multifunctional Locker System
Our project focuses on developing a smart locker system that enhances security and convenience using ESP32, RFID authentication, and an automated locking mechanism. We initially aimed to integrate dual authentication via a keypad and fingerprint sensor, but encountered technical challenges in fingerprint recognition and motor control stability.
Despite these challenges, we successfully implemented PIN-based access control, with a fully functional LCD display and keypad system. Testing showed that the system reliably grants or denies access based on correct/incorrect PIN inputs. Future improvements include optimizing the motor control mechanism, refining fingerprint authentication, and integrating remote access features using WiFi/Bluetooth.
