The project is a guitar effects pedal. It's meant to produce a fuzz effect and also act as a treble booster. We chose it because it's a fun project and I'm interested in music technology. The effects we chose are very common and are popular with guitarists from various genres. The circuit works and sounds pretty good. It has very high gain which is good for musicians as the pedal is loud and it should be especially popular with rock guitarists.
