Here at http://y2amradioreceiver.blogspot.co.uk/ you will find the blog for our year 2 project blog titled "AM Radio Receiver", by Zhangcheng Wang, Dezhi Shen and Bowen Yuan, supervised by Dr M.Raja.
AM broadcasting is a process of AM radio broadcasting using amplitude modulation. The frequency of superheterodyne AM radio receiver is stable, so the superheterodyne type Am radio is more selective and more sensitive. The project aims to make this kind of AM radio receiver. After 5 weeks, we completed the design and built the circuit. This kind of radio is widely used in the world. The project contains software simulation, signal receiving, demodulation, knowledge of transistor and capacitor. Students may learn electronic knowledge from the project.
