Abstract:
Old books and journal papers often include important diagrams, particularly those depicting material properties or experimental results. Converting these diagrams into numerical data for comparison with new findings can be both time-consuming and prone to inaccuracies. In this case, we need a tool to extract curves and visualize the position of points on curves. The project involves implementing image processing techniques, clustering algorithms and GUI design. Aiming to develop a software with the following functions:
1. Select and Load Image File
2. Image Display
3. Axis Calibration
6. Curves Detection
7. Display Mouse Position
9. Plot Detected Curves
10. Position Data Output
11. Adjustable Window
