Our team developed a MATLAB-based Cellular Network Capacity Dimensioning Tool, designed to analyze and optimize key network parameters such as channel allocation, traffic load, and user capacity. The tool provides a user-friendly interface, allowing engineers and researchers to input system parameters and visualize results dynamically.
Using industry-standard models like the Erlang B formula, the software computes network performance metrics, ensuring optimal frequency reuse, sectorization, and blocking probability management. Additionally, it features graphical outputs, including traffic density and user density curves, offering insights into how cell radius impacts network capacity.
This tool serves as a valuable resource for network planners, educators, and researchers, helping them assess and improve cellular network efficiency.
