In the past decade, 3G and WIFI were two main services on wireless networks of document downloading on mobile devices . Sometimes a smartphone may download multiple files at the same time and usually each file to be downloaded has different values for customers. The purpose of this file download management of smartphone is to minimum the money of customers with the maximum downloading value. This project can be applied on industry design of mobile devices.
The purpose of the team project is to find the best downloading strategy for mobile devices by simulating a real circumstance of mobile phone downloading. The total value, unit value, size and deadline of documents were considered to judge the best strategy.
