Here at http://digitrecognition.blogspot.co.uk you will find our bog for our Year 2 project which is named as 'Intelligent Digit/Letter Image Recognition System', by Yichuan Wang, Linqiao Zhuang and Zijie Zhou, supervised by Dr Mu.
This project is meant to ask us to design a system which should be able to recognize the digit image hand written by the user and output the correct number. MATLAB is finally decided to be the main tool for us to work on the project. BP Neural Network is the main technology related to our project and it is important for us the understand the relevant knowledge behind the codes.
We designed the code and finished the construction of the database. As the picture shows above, our system can recognize the digit correctly which is quite exciting for us.
