The goal of this project was to design a system that separates Skittles from M&Ms and then sorts the M&Ms by color. The way it works is when the candy drops through a tube into a circle with holes. It then stops under the sensor which scans the color to decide which cup to aim at. Then finally the circle does a full rotation to collect another piece of candy.
This concept could mirror a real-world machine that filters diamonds from rocks and categorizes them based on quality.
