Here at http://singlepixelcamera2016.blogspot.co.uk/ you will find the blog for our project blot titled " Single Pixel Camera Simulation Project", by Jiaming Nie, Zhenyu Wang, Ruochen Fu and Oladapo Mewase supervised by Dr Y.C. Shen.
Single pixel camera senses light with only one pixel rather than millions of pixel which allows for the development of low-cost cameras sensitive to colours with infrared. It has potential application in spotting gas leaks, night vision, etc. The product this report intends to propose is the single pixel camera simulation which is the modelling of the single pixel camera with MATLAB. Algorithm of the process is the essential.
In the simulation, the software MATLAB was used to read the image and acquire the data, MATLAB would generate one mask pattern with certain numbers of mask compositing of simple colors. Then the mask pattern combine with 3 base color pattern of the image, which are Red, Blue and Green. We divide the three colors into 3 base color pattern, combine the pattern with the mask pattern separately and at last combined them together to achieve the reconstructed image.
