The project aims to build a simple FM receiver which can receiver signal from broadcasting station and the FM transmitter from the other group. The FM receiver is easy to make and works well even inside the room. Besides, the FM receiver is pocked size so that it be taken during exercising.
The group did much effort to study supperregenerative receiver, supperheterodyne reveiver and phase loop locked receiver. The first one was provided to be functionless, the second one was too complex to solder. The PLL receiver is both simple and works well. A radio chip interest main components of PLL circuit: phase detector, low pass filter and VCO. The final product is a PLL receiver using a radio chip.
