Nowadays, people are becoming increasingly dependent on phones to transmit and share information. Under such circumstance, if the network signal was blocked because of emergency such as natural disaster, people would get into a panic and it would be quite difficult to transmit the information. And that leads to the theme of our project.
The project are trying to provide a solution to transmit information without network (WIFI, 3G, 4G, etc.). Specifically, the project was to develop an Android APP which can automatically capture images and allow the APP to automatically transfer files between devices via Bluetooth when two or more devices approach. The UAV is utilized to carry the phone, flying around and taking pictures. Finally, all the captured images will be transmitted to the computer to micro-map the terrain using MATLAB program.
